Refund & Cancellation Policy

Mangrove Foundation of India (MFI) deeply values the trust of its donors and supporters. We maintain full transparency in managing donations and ensure that contributions are used strictly for our charitable objectives.

However, under rare circumstances, MFI may consider a refund or cancellation request, subject to the following policy.

1. General Policy

• Donations made to Mangrove Foundation of India are non-refundable, except under specific conditions outlined below.
• All donations are considered final and irrevocable unless there is a genuine and proven error.

2. Valid Refund Scenarios

A donor may request a refund in the following cases:

1. Duplicate Donation

The donor accidentally donates more than once for the same cause.

2. Incorrect Donation Amount

An amount was entered mistakenly and is significantly different from the intended value.

3. Technical Issues

If the donor’s account/card was charged, but the transaction did not reflect a confirmation or receipt on our end.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please write to:

📅 Within 7 calendar days from the date of the transaction.

Include the following:

• Full Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Transaction ID / Payment Reference
• Amount Donated
• Reason for Refund Request

4. Refund Process & Timeline

• Once a refund request is verified and approved by MFI, the amount will be refunded using the original payment method.
• Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days after approval.
• Refunds for payments made via Razorpay or any payment gateway will follow the gateway’s refund cycle.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Donations cannot be cancelled once successfully processed.
• Event registrations (if any) may be considered for cancellation only if explicitly mentioned in the respective event terms.

6. Rights of the Organization

• MFI reserves the right to approve or reject any refund request based on its internal review.
• Refunds will not be granted for reasons such as change of mind or lack of interest post-donation.
• MFI is not obligated to provide a refund unless a valid error or exceptional reason is established.
